That is why the Judiciary is thriving at Collegium system and do not like setting up of Judicial commission. The have absolute power and want to retain the same, without being accountable to anyone.
Under our Constitution, Judiciary can be tamed by Parliament, where without fear MPs can criticize the conduct and character of individual judges. MPs of Parliament can be tamed by public but voting them out of power. Public can demonstrate, gherao MPs and Judges to express their frustration and anger. But someone is required to coordinate such moves. Individuals can do nothing but suffer.
Senior Lawyers are part of this corrupt and autocrat system. They exploit the junior lawyers for carrying the work-load of seniors at survival wages till junior lawyers also grow up to be a part of corrupt system. The chain goes on.
Possible Remedies are: -
• People should opt for out of court settlements to make Judges and lawyers jobless. It is a long way.
• Express anger and frustration with the system on social media, through agitations and open criticism, to compel parliamentarians to act for taming judiciary.
• Amending Constitution to make Judiciary accountable at every stage and system of penalizing judges for reckless judgments. Whenever an appeal is successful, the lower judge must be punished for giving wrong judgment.
• Replacing the Constitution and defunct judicial system. Such things have happened in the history when public anger and frustration turns limitless and anarchy takes over.
• Continue suffering as a law-abiding citizen till dooms day, hoping for system to correct itself. more

I like to differ with the views of Mr SP Singh. Every renewal should be with the concurrence of the party, otherwise it will lead to manipulations. A notice should be given as an advice for renewal and consent obtained if that is to be implemented. Most of the lawyers attain Knowledge proficiency, and experience of court procedures on completion of ten years’ practice, which is the minimum requirement for being elevated as High Court Judge or Supreme Court Judge. What is really required is interpretations of Judicial concepts, and their application to the facts of the case in hand. This individual interpretation must be in line with the concept of right and wrong in which the court is operation and NOT to any concept thrust from abroad, otherwise the judgment may be helpful to enemies of the country but of no use to the Country that pays the Judge. In our system, the judges are getting more favorable to Human rights of the accused having committed heinous crimes against the culture of land, thus perpetuating injustice to own countrymen. We certainly do not require such judiciary. The country wants patriotic interpreters and not clever legal experts. Thus, judges must have an impeccable public record of honesty, professional knowledge, above average common sense and commitment towards the traditions and culture of the nation. The Right and wrongs in own country may not be the similar as known in other country, but that is what is required to be upheld by a patriotic judge. We want patriotic judges and not merely legal experts. There must be an effective and practical system of making the judges of all levels accountable for what they decide and time effective mechanism for their removal if necessary. Constitution can be changed any number of times during five pears, but it takes centuries to change the culture and traditions of the country. Judiciary must be concerned about the philosophy and culture and advise the government to amend constitution to align with the culture of the country. Our present set up has failed on it. more
