I agree there are many many issues, besides parking, and ALL need to be addressed..... simultaneously...... Isn't this why there are several million government employees..... to do WHAT THEY ARE HIRED AND PAID TO...... FULL TIME..... 8hrs/day, 52 weeks/yr, excluding holidays and "sick days"..... year after year till they "retire"...???? Therefore, I do not see any harm in raising ALL these issues targeted at these multi - million employees of the Government(s) in India.... separately... one at a time. Even more important than water and electricity is safety, security (internal and external) and justice..... and we all know how much we have (failed to) achieved here..... Are we suggesting we should "drop everything" till we have tackled these first and only. Maybe there is merit to it..... and dismiss ALL non-essential service employees..... is this what we really want....???? Local Circles allows us to address individual issues separately but simultaneously. If we can focus on the issue(s) identified by the "moderator"..... and focus our efforts and comments accordingly..... I think we will ALL make progress..... one (small) step at a time.... Whether the issues are minor, major, national, regional, local, majority, minority, caste, religion, personal, civil, criminal, etc.. etc... let us focus on each one.... so we step ahead... slowly, steadily, but surely. I hope I am not offending anyone..... and apologize if I have done so.... my only suggestion is focus... focus... focus.... on the issue(s) identified by the "moderator" of the Local Circle..... to help and support them prepare the white paper and/or other documents, plans, actions, etc... more

The First & Utmost Priority should be Supply of 24 x 7 Clean & Pure Drinking Water to all the residents of Delhi / New Delhi at very reasonable / cheap rates which neither the Congress Govt. nor the BJP Govt. could do so far. Had the Shiela Dixit Govt. privatized the Drininking Water or could ensure its availability at reasonable / cheap rates in clean/pure drinking water, nobody could defeat her Govt. even for 15 years more. Though the Electricity was available 24x7 after its privatization, which helped her win the elections even though the Congress in the Central Govt. had acted adversely against the public interest by sealing the shops and establishments in the residential areas through back door and all the small shop-keepers, traders, bread earners were ruined. Hence, supply of 24x7 clean and pure drinking water at reasonable rates should be the first priority, otherwise People will be left with no alternative, but to opt for New Comers Like Arvind Kejriwal. So Water WATER and Water is the need of the hour. more
