Mumbai Municipal Corporation

The government penalizes and fines the general public in one context or the other. Who will punish the government officials who purposely ignore and fail their duties without the fear of law? I do not want to waste more time to write things which are going to fall on the deaf ears of the people in power.

I reside inSouth Mumbai. I will like to say that our leaders of any party are shamless. Always busy in critising the ruling party by the opposition party. Never works in proper coordination. Most of them terribly corrupt. Just ask them to look for fault in others. They are very expert. Our Media, News channels are also hand in glove. Tell them to report for aparticular community they will dug the history which is not there and cook up story more horrible them Ramsey. My area Tardeo Road is in one of worst conditions since last 4/5 years. No corporator or MLA or MP has time to look into. I can strech whether it is Road or Pothole Road. Our so called Netas are so shameless that they give number of Potholes in entire Mumbai as less tahn 1000. I think the defination of potholes in the Dictionary is taken from Moon or Mangal or any other Planet visited by them. I am ready to take them in my car to this road and make them fill regarding the Road conditions if they can to see. Our Hon HC every year passes an order and give ultimatum to remove all potholes before Ganeshsotsav. I think there is no value of Human life in the eyes of all these persons. So many persons suffer injuries due to potholes. But who cares for Tax paying community. These tax payers are street barking dogs.

I wnt to write so much but feeling ashamed to write for our leaders and law makers. I want to give "0"
rating but there is no option.

BMC has not repaired a 500 meter portion of Hiranandani - Vikhroli Link Road for more than 10 years. The pot holes are causing damage to vehicles and people travelling in cars and rickshaws on this road. All requests have fallen on Deaf ears. Similarly on Chandivali Farm Road the road divider which was removed more than 5 years back during paving of road has not reinstated in spite of personal meeting with Dy. Municipal Commissioner along with AGNI Representatives in April 2016 and submitting a written request as advised by Dy.MC. This is causing great hardship to Senior Citizens for crossing the road due to heavy traffic movement. There are no zebra crossing painted and traffic signal is not working.

BMC needs to attend to following road repairs urgently:
1. Repair of about 500 meters of Hiranandani - Vikhroli Link Road which is full of pot holes causing inconvenience to users. This road has not been repaired for more than 10 years in spite of complaints lodged with BMC authorities.
2. Reinstatement of Road Divider on Chandivali Farm Road which was removed for fixing paver blocks. Without the road divider it is very difficult to cross the road to access ATMs of HDFC and State Bank. This was brought to attention of BMC authorities but no action is taken.
3. A plot designated as Amenity Space opposite Lake Homes gate on Chandivali Farm Road is full of garbage and construction debries. Even BMC board is missing. This has been brought to the notice of Ward Officer of L ward but no action is taken.

The road maintenance services need to improve in Mumbai.

There are no "Roads" per say, between Santacruz and Bandra. I challenge any BMC/MMC officer, any MLA, any Minister, any Corporator, to drive their own cars between Santacruz (West) and Bandra (West) via the Linking Road, via Khar Gym and onwards to Bandra (West). If they can do this for just 7 days, without having a nervous breakdown, apart from their car being broken into pieces, I will take my words back. The roads North and South of Santacruz and Bandra are as bad, including the WEH. Why are Bombayites /Mumbaiytes so tolerant? Watching CNN & BBC on TV, we see the war torn and bombed out Syria and Iraqi roads are totally free of potholes. Who is answerable to us tax paying citizens of Mumbai?

Very poor conditions of road and bridges. Several potholes, shoddy filling work. poor rawmaterials used for road construction. no supervision by BMC. This leads to traffic jams and loss of costly fuel. Also the vehicles get damaged and people suffer injuries.
