Why are people giving up on covid vaccine

45.14 lakh people were due for their 2nd Covid vaccine shot in Karnataka till 9.30 am on Wednesday. Among those are not only 41.75 lakh common citizens, but also 77,406 health workers & 2.62 lakh frontline workers, who are aware that partial vaccination is of no use more

Worst disincentive is returning a citizen without giving what he came for, be it Med or vac. S/he would have spent time and money. Conditionalities do not work. more
Authorities committed one major mistake. They concentrated on giving the first doze while denying the 2 doze for those who approached them within the recommended time period after the first. Apathy starts when the person gets frustrated. The current low infection rates has added on to the apathy. Now authorities have to put effort to get them back. more
Should be made mandatory unless there are other situations or health conditions. Failure should result in NO Pay. more
health workers and front line workers should take it and they know the efficacy of it and they should set an example .Govt should insist on their completion at the earliest . more
