Online renewal of driving license
Has anyone renewed their driving license, ONLINE, in Bangalore recently, without visiting the RTO? If so, what is the procedure?
My license is due for renewal, starting today, but I am out of Bangalore for the next couple of months. more

Yes, i renewd few days back. go to Sarathi parivahan site and follow the correct drop down. Depending on age , you will need to submit medical certificate. Else, just upload all documents , pay fees and you are done more

Yes have done it.. you apply from anywhere.. Form 35 medical should be endorsed by doctor.. load all documents.. job done more

Go to Parivahan ...Sarthi , log in..fill in the details as asked for.. keep medical form no as mentioned duly filled & signed by authorised doctor, upload the documents.., make the payment thru link and you can see the status..ie stages.. If server is not a issue, you will get the DL within 30 days by speed post. You can start renewal process 30 days from the date of expiry. Did it in Jayanagar RTO. In our case, server was down for 10 days ( from Delhi level).. For doctor, preferable is government hospital doctors. more
