VandeBharat charges ₹515 for a journey from Mysuru to Bengaluru, with a journey time of 2 hrs.

Howrah-Mysuru Express charges ₹175 for the same journey, and reaches the destination in 2 hrs 10 mins.

Why on earth is this new train being hailed so much? more

From what I heard from passengers, the running time is reduced by 30 mins, when compared to Shatabdi.Everything else is same. Definnitely not worth the high cost. Instead of vande bharaths in the sector, railways should make the seating in double decker comfortable (very cramped now) and decrease the running time of Shatabdi. more
