Trifty Stranger Social Network’s Criminal Activities in Mumbai Pubs & Clubs

Trifty Social Network for running organized honey-trap rackets in collaboration with pubs and clubs in Mumbai. Under the pretext of “social networking events,” they advertise on social media and attract people with false promises. On the day of the event, participants are directed to well-known clubs where everything is pre-planned. Bar girls and male hosts are deliberately planted to trap customers—ladies approach men, engage them in conversation, and emotionally manipulate them into ordering expensive food and drinks, often inflating bills into thousands. Men who resist are sometimes blackmailed or threatened with false allegations, while women attendees are influenced by male hosts and pushed towards immoral activities. This is not only looting but also psychological exploitation. Trifty also collects personal data, photos, and phone numbers during registration, which raises serious concerns of misuse, extortion, or sale to third parties. The entire operation spoils cultural values, exploits the already vulnerable marriage-seeking community, and promotes immoral practices under the guise of modern networking. Their actions amount to cheating, extortion, conspiracy, and misuse of personal data, which fall under the Consumer Protection Act, IPC, and IT Act. I request immediate investigation into Trifty’s operations, its tie-ups with clubs, and misuse of bar girls for honey-traps, and urge strict legal action to safeguard citizens from such organized crime. more
