Prasar Bharati should not insert advertisements in between the epic Ramayan and Mahabharat
The rerun telecast of Ramayan and Mahabharat on DD National and DD Bharati has created a lot of excitement among the people. However to maintain the same charm as in the 87-90 era, Prasar Bharati should refrain from inserting advertisements in between the epic Ramayan and Mahabharat.
During that era, advertisements were positioned before the serial commenced for 10 minutes i. e from 10 am to 10.10 am and then the episode used to run uninterrupted for 50 minutes till 11 am. This was the main reason for its popularity. Secondly, there are a lot of Indian values and culture to be learnt from these epics. The young generation of today should be proud of our Indian culture and values. When an advertisement is inserted in between, it kills viewer interest and sacrifices quality entertainment especially when it comes to imparting knowledge of our Indian values and culture.
On DD Bharati, the sound quality and picture quality is not clear as compared to DD National channel. Hence it is a request to Prasar Bharati to telecast it on DD National.
One more request is to telecast a repeat of both epics 2 episodes each -Ramayan from 2pm -3 pm and 3 pm - 4 pm and Mahabharat from 4 pm - 4.45 pm and from 4.45 pm - 5.30 pm more

Well, I have my own opinion. It will be more appropriate if they show Akshaya Kumar diverting a car owner asking him if the road belong to his father when Lord Ram with Lakshman and Seeta on their way to the forests. It will also be be great to see Neena Gupta asking for medicine to ward off the pain when Seeta sits under the Ashoka Tree. May be Bajaj will insert an ad for their Motorcycle when Lord Ram's attention is diverted so that Ravan can kidnap her. I suggest 60 minutes broadcast should have 10 ads each with 3-5 minutes duration. Money is a great power than Lord Ram on screen. (Ads of sanitary pads and huggies can be modified to suit the scene). more
