Tolls & Cattle
As far as Tolls are concerned, these are BIG MONEY CHURNERS, less for the Govt more for those who accept the Tenders and Finalize the Deals.
That is the main reason why their numbers are increased and we have no choice but to pay otherwise one may get even ASSAULTED.
You may not pay only if you are a VVIP or a LOCAL POLITICIAN or MAFIA.
Because everything is done for personal benefits, no one is bothered about the ROAD CONDITIONS.
I live in Gurgaon and it claims to be a Millennium City. Come and see the Road Conditions. Also, they are regularly repaired but the Technology used is So INNOVATIVE that with first shower, the roads disappear. In fact in this area there is never heavy rain. Indian Engineers and Contractors are the only ones to have this Technology. Thank God that hey have not Shared with other nations.

A large % of the sanctioned amount is paid to the party in power, how builder can make quality roads keeping aside his profit %? more

Such pity condition prevails all over the country. None of the roads are constructed as per norms demanding repair within a short span of their construction. Huge amounts are again spent on repairing which is done again using sub-standard materials with total willful violation of terms & conditions by the endotrophic contractors enjoying blessings of the corrupt officers and leaders. In such way a source of illicit income for all the concerned continues uninterrupted. Surprisingly the cattle menace prevails all over the country causing untimely death to lakhs of people every year but neither the central government nor the respective state governments ever had shown their concern to solve the issue once for all. None of the leaders are bold enough to initiate drastic action against the owners of such animals fearing losing of vote banks keeping in mind our vote bank political system. more

All governments claim that they tackle corruption. But corruption is the main reason for deterioration of quality of work. Even if being prosecuted, delay in justice delivery is a big bane. more
