Story of Distribution of Election Tickets in Bengal
Election procedure and vote is over in some of the states in India.
Some other states are gearing up for the election procedures.
In a state like West Bengal we often hear stories of favourism.
Even we hear that huge amount is given to bye seats of the contestents before election.
It is not necessary that the ticket buying process takes place in sofisticated offices only.
There are clubs, markets, shops, other forums in which this setting takes place.
Tickets for different candidates prior to election in Bengal is purchased by cash and kind.
So my question is, does bying tickets for new and old electorates or elected or selected members fall under crime category?
I am talking about the forthcoming 2021 election in Bengal.

very first . Whether the elections are necessary ? Instead why there is no Internal Committee of Peoples on ward , village , district , Taluka & state Level. They will decide what they want in practice by sitting once / twice / thrice with administration babu peoples. If they are not listening good things, then automatically get transfer to another region. If they are habitual then only removal is solution. I do not think Elections will make any difference in common mans life. But the small governance will make great impact on peoples life. Even MLA / MP are not capable to make any decisions unless they have strong , sufficient knowledge of System , Fields. It is done by their secretaries , They just Present in Assembly , Parliament. more

The basic Fundamental Prime Issue is that the Govt functioning is under the control of ELECTED MEMBERS. This is a challenge to Article 12 which Specifically Separated Government and Parliament as well as Governments and Legislatures.

Politicians are aware of every thing. They will only change the system only if it suits them otherwise all the noise made by public will fall on deaf years. With all shouting and noise etc. a politician will never harm a fellow politician. Only courts can help in criminal cases. more

Presently once elected it is intact for a period of 5Years no matter whether yo do work for the electorate or not This period of certainty MUST be reduced by a method /system of call back. It is suggested that elections of all candidates from Gram Panchayat member to Member of Loksabha should be done simultaneously, at same time.Voting should be spread over a period of Two weeks with time and date of closure of voting on line being specified. Six months after closure of main election the on line revision of votes should be possible to call back earlier vote and recast it for further period to another candidate in the ring.The period available for revising the earlier cast vote shall be one week appropriately defined. If the maximum/highest vote receiver is now any other candidate then earlier election shall stand revised with highest vote receiver being declared as elected. There should also be a ruling on what happens if None Of The Above (NOTA) gets more votes than any other candidate. In my opinion such constituency should go unrepresented for six months and candidates against whom NOTA was polled votes more than any other candidate should be debarred from contesting from that constituency. Fresh nominations be invited and election done after six months of main election with a voting period of one week only. On line and simultaneous elections have many advantages. Reducing the time of elected representative to six months forces him to act for good of people at large promptly and effectively or he could lose his seat. RYK. more

One way of eschewing Corruption in Politics is to get rid of representatives to approve legislation. Referendum was not possible except in City-states. Now it is possible with the Internet universally available through Smartphones and computers.Even if internet is not so available in the hands of everyone particularly in villages the purpose will be served if at least a few have internet as it can be used by those not having it. Internet kiosks are available within walking distance in all urban centres. Voting for or against any Bill can be done directly by 70% to 90% of voters through Internet Referendum, which may prove better arrangement for the public to express their opinion. more

We have to probably go by the constitution in this matter....and two third majority is required to amend or append any major issue in it....so we are trapped....am I correct? more
