Shortage of Remdesivir medicine in many States.

I is very worrying factor to see that REMDESIVIR medicine which is specific for treating Corona patients is very much in shortage in many States, particularly in Bangalore. In Puducherry, the Governor of the State Mrs. Tamizhisai Soundararajan, had taken personal interest and gone to Hyderabad wherein this medicine is being produced and procured 1000 bottles of Remdesivir medicine and fle back to puducherry for the use of corona patients of that State. It is thousand dollar question, that how many Governors or Chief Minister would go personally to Hyderabad and procure medicine to their States? The GOI Ministry of Health and the PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA are keeping mum about the shortage of this very vital drug and have not taken any effort to bring down the shortage and make the Hyderabad based pharmaceutical company to produce more number of units of medicine to meet the shortage in the country. It is high time that PM of India must raise up and order this pharmaceutical to produce more units and also make other pharmaceuticals in other States like Maharashtra to produce this Remdesivir medicine with proper transfer of technology. Moreover, it is seen that this Remdesivir medicine is despatched freely to outside world to reach all Pharmacies and these pharmacists hord this valuable medicine and sell high cost. Many hospitals which are treating corona patients unable to give Remdesivir medicine and save the patients. Therefore the GOI should order that this medicine should only be despatched direct to Hospitals and should not be sold in outside Pharmacies. THIS IS VERY VERY URGENT IN THIS CRUCIAL SITUATION WHERE IN LARGE NUMBER OF CORONA PATIENTS ARE being admitted in the hospitals of almost all States. more

At least somebody is taking interest. more
This particular drug is available in Government hospitals and they are selling them to patients at 3-4 times the price more
This is a lame excuse for gross mismanagement that DEATH IS INEVITABLE. If patients are not getting hospital beds, there is a shortage of OXYGEN , then who is accountable for this. Population as a whole may be the reason But China is more populated than us...there are numerous cities in the world which are more populated than Indore, Bhopal, Pune etc why isn't this mismanagement there. As regards Remsdvir, it may not be a wonder drug But it is an important Drug to be administered when ur lungs are getting infected , so if it is not administered on time the problem will become acute. I am finding that in these circles there are people WHO ARE TRYING TO PROTECT THE GOVT MISMANAGEMENT and they are biased. I have in last five days seen Three deaths ; purely because of ADMINISTRATION'S MISMANAGEMNT. more
There is no medicine yet in allopathy to treat Corona . Most of the people are getting panic attack and getting them selves admitted in Hospitals . So, shortage of bed . Remdesivir is not the proven medicine for corona. There is still no evidence to indicate that Remdesivir is beneficial in treating hospitalised coronavirus patients as per WHO. Rather it's side effects are more but people are behind this medicine . more
But they give remedisiver in Chednnai hospitals .The cost of treating a patient in a hospital runs 2 laks and 14 days it is 3 lakhs.Indians are mostly selfish and dishonestSo we face these prob;ems. more
Remdedsivir is not the ultimate medicine. No point in blaming any govt. Our population is very very huge. Given circumstances the best possible is done. Death is inevitable. Please remember the story of Alexander the great more
