There are some nefarious thought processes and practices prevailing in Indian societies in spite of the country is overflowing with so called spiritual faith, bhaktimarg and When a beti is born father’s head bows down, Garki ijjat mitti me mila di, meri chita ko kaun aag dega, dahej kaha se lau, biradari me naak kat gayee, kash ye betiya na hoti ek beta hota etc. etc. of course only rascals keep and develop this idea.
This mind set has arrived from defeats, slavery, fear of unknown and poverty. At the same time we poke with interest in others affairs to enjoy their misery and show how we carry a superiority complex in society. We know most men have indulged in either physical or mental sexual crimes and most women have an experience of bitter sexual harassment, still a strong pro daughter environment could not be created. Tradition has awarded great raksha bandhan to promote daughters security but when father and after father the brother ran away from support to daughter in distress we brought sati and vidhawa vivah banning. Daughters burnt glorifying as satimata and gratifying as freedom from liability. Society has not learnt any lesson and we are all suffering from guilt, insecurity, lie and hush up technology. The crime rate against daughters is high and growing. Nature is a great mechanic, its machine is well mechanized for perception and truth. Disobey truth and the liars are ready to punish you. Perceive wrong and you will be surrounded by mad’s. Nature does not create pain and misery, they are invited. Therefore safety and welfare of daughters cannot be a purview of the police or govt. but solely the family, relatives and community if not taken care of we all burn in hell and misery.
We must therefore,
1. Firmly support and stand behind daughters under any circumstances even if daughter does wrong, trapped, seduced, victimized extend your love, care and sympathy.
2. Daughter is always right others carry dosh and deserve punishment.
3. Ensure that the daughter is comfortable at sasural and happy, else immediately relieve her from clutches and extend full security, love, care and assurance without caring for anything especially moles in biradari.
4. Dahej and gifts is a sophisticated begging, a kind of extortion brings trouble for daughter.
5. Even a rupee looted from needy, women, poor, public fund is recovered by nature through sharp painful torchers. Na Khao Na Khane dev.
6. Rightful gift to wedded couple and stopping of bribing through gifts to anybody else.
7. Father and mother must understand beti is born as their mother as jagadamba a natural mother that can and will create king or kill demon. You live to protect and respect woman all else is dead and shikhandi.
8. Corruption, sycophancy, greed, jealousy, anger, zutha ahankar, false fear maharajgiri, these are invitation to trouble for beti.
9. An honest Father and loving mother create heaven for beti.
10. Father teaches son respecting woman creates heaven for beti.
11. 24X7 vigilance on beti that nobody touches them or get near unnecessary.
12. Bahu is not a Guinea pig but a mother and also Durga to give you mukti or bhukti.
13. It is Beti and Bahu decide your fate. Love, care to them brings peace and bliss.
14. Inter cast marriages break the bad traditions, genetic mutation award healthy children and new horizon.
15. Beti deserves a brave and honest husband there should be no compromise. Unmarried beti is better than marrying her to a scoundrel.
16. Teaching self-defense, skills and qualifying through education must be the first priority to daughter than son. This is self- sufficiency.
17. Superstition on Maan maryada, Riti- riwaj, gharaneki ejjat, samaaj me pratishtha, ucha Khandan all should be learnt from scholars and not from illiterates and stubborn.
18. We do not want the sixteen year old beti or beta to find her own way of deserting home and parents like in western countries. more

a. Woman is higher in racial hierarchy than man. So, man keeps woman under control to 'appear' stronger than woman. b. Man must understand to handle a woman as his equal. Until then, a proxy war will engulf the couple. The simple reason is man refuses to understand the woman as equal, and woman gives up trying to make the man understand. This is a deadlock situation. c. All money and status is superficial. The richest families have fallen broke after some time. Money / status / power is transient. So, the rich / middle class should stop acting superior and stop demands of Dowry / Dahej. d. One of the ways to stop the evils of Dowry / Dahej is to stay in the majority side where your community lives, and garner lifetime and continuous support through teenage, marriageable ages, and beyond for the young woman. e. Women must realize that their strength is there are more men than women. While opting for a boy, a young woman should understand that a suitable boy will present himself with better education, and must not make poor choice for a young man out of pressure. f. The girl must accept that there is a good life in towns. g. Follow the advise of astrologers to find a suitable groom, as astrologers can look into the future. The couple themselves have to work to make the marriage happy, as no one else will do that for the couple. h. When a woman gets a job / education, more good will happen in society. i. A teacher's wife will be known as a teacher's wife. more

Safety of any one is a million dollar question. I thought Modi Govt will take enough strict measures against the accused of Nirbhaya and many others, all in vain. The present Govt. is keen in taxing people and not doing any thing tangibly. more

Suggestions are good, the problem is in implementation,I am a proud father of two daughters I opt family planning surgery in 1976 though all were against me. I gave the best to my daughters the elder one is Phd. from Delhi University and the second one is a Kathak Dance exponent running her own academy in Hyderabad. Each individual has to decide how he can support his daughter/sister/wife/mother and the other women of the society. more

I think apart from all the suggestions, one most important suggestion on this Women's Day, I shall like to give that the ladies of this country become friend of the fellow ladies in their life - they might be their daughter-in-law or mother-in-law or sister-in-law etc. If the ladies of our country join their hands to stop all the criticism then major miseries of ladies do stop. more
