Online sites and apps in checking corruption

Though the Govt. proudly inaugurated online sites and apps for checking corruption, the officials have various methods of extorting money from public. Most of their telephones are busy. None cares to lift the phone. Even if you contact them by chance, they give an evasive reply saying that they are not given that work and ask you to dial another number. After phoning four or five officials, we will get an abrupt reply to come in person and show all documents. Even if you complain, another round of phone calls you have to make. The talk of technology just seems eyewash to dupe people. Even complaints on twitter and face book are met with same indifferent and callous response. Unless officers treat every complaint seriously and take prompt action, we have to move around officials and obey their demands for perks and gifts. more

Corruption can only be stopped if we have a very clean and strong CM with good support from his party bosses. Ajit Yogi appears to be promising but it depends on support from his MLAs. Unless government officials are punished quickly and severely they will have no fear. Politicians protecting corrupt officials should be taken to task by the party bosses. All this sounds impossible but at least Modi and Yogi have made a small beginning. The public and media should give full support and publicity if this movement is to pick up all over the country. more
I agree with the non-cooperation by officers. Please do not touch issues like Rs. 20 asked by cooking gas delivery boy. He is asking for his lively hood. Many times, he has to deliver in second/third floors where there is no lift. Are citizens ready to collect the cylinder in the ground floor and carry it them selves. CITIZENS TOO SHOULD BEHAVE WITH SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND NOT BLAMING GOVT OFFICIALS. HOW MANY ARE SINCERELY CO-OPERATING IN AVOIDING PLASTIC DISPOSABLES. FOR RICH CLASS, STILL IT IS FANCY TO CREATE MORE PLASTIC SCRAP. Wastage of drinking water in marriage halls and parties is another fancy, but such wasting is a crime. Poor people are struggling to get drinking water. Rich are washing their cars using hose pipe, water flowing in the roads. PLEASE LET US CONCENTRATE ON OUR INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY TOWaRDS THE SOCIETY. more
Why are we surprised !! This culture of deception/fraud has been strongly built into our governing system over decades and any attempt to rectify/improve it, will be unanimously thrown out by all in power, to protect the main sources of their personal gain!!! Only a PERSISTENT & universal uprising of citizens against the SYSTEM for reform will bear results !! more
Its' an ugly fact. The corrupt always avoid and evade queiries when they find it is not money's worth. The best way is to email - which is both a written document and easy to send. Also, it is evidence of your quiery. more
I agree schemes are announced but in terms of effective implementation there is no change from the 1980s. i.e. where we lack compared to western countries or the gulf. Grievance redresal cells are there but if the topic is bit complicated they close the complaint by giving some lame excuses. Govt wants to monitor citizens using aadhar.. but can't they put at least half the effort to make sure effective implementation of schemes and grievances. For every small issues can we keep writing to PMO.. if people are writing to PMO it shows the failure of other wings not the effectiveness of PMO more
