Meet at govt offices instead of 5 stars

HD Kumaraswamy, Siddaramaiah, G Parameshwara and DK Shivakumar apparently met at Taj Westend yday to discuss portfolio distribution.

My question is why are these administrators not meeting in govt offices and instead choosing to meet at 5 star hotels.

Is this how they will be running karanataka? I guess its easy to engage in other activities in 5 star hotels too. more

Do anyone think, they are for the People or for their welfare. These jokers are Power hunger and they are there to enjoy the fullest on Public Money and do nothing, other then dividing people on Caste and creed, to fulfill the Vote bank Political agenda. more
Nothing surprising. Plight of the country is because politics has been business for the politicians since independence. With deteriorating quality of politicaians, their family backgrounds and education it is only to be expected that there will be increase in greed, VIP rascism and brazen dispaly of complete disregard for citizens. How can we be surprised when we don't even blink when TV channels discuss about who gets plum posting. What that means is means who gets a lucrative ministry implying where there is more scope for misuse of power and making dirty money. The public has created a new breed of rajas, without pedigree and class. Democracy works in a society of educated, law abiding and righteos citizens, who put their country frist and their self second. People themselves are bad, have no capabilities, no civic sense and obsessed with their religious and linguistic identies and care nothing for the country, at least a majority of the citizens. Why else would they destroy the properties in the name of protests and even vandalise a luxury train. People don't want change and improvement and politicians just play to that psych. Things will change hopefully some day when we get social reformers, non-religious leaders and when entire population votes NOTA in every election. Something has to break to be mended. But this is highly unlikely, at the bootom of the pyramid, people are poor, illiterate and cannot afford to be bothered about values and principles and can be bought cheap in large numbers. The others are possibly rich and corrupt and benefit from status quo. The average right thinking citizen is totally disempowered because they are a vanishing minority. Unfortunately we don't see good values being injected to the newer generations either. more
They are representing us because we vote for them and therefore we are responsible for there deeds. so they spend our money. we do not have any provision to correct them till next time voting Only possibility to stop them is that do not vote them again more
After all it is tax payers' money which they spend in 5 star hotels. more
agree with you. Ethics and morality have gone down the drain. We hope the people who have not voted will learn a lesson from this election outcome. Bunch of Losers and looters are now going to rule us. Recently I heard someone saying that when one travels on the vidhana Soudha road, we are between Cheats on the one side and Liars on the other side. That beautifully sums up the plight of commoners like us. more
ours is 5 star Government, No time for silly loan waiver of farmers, water problems, Civic problems, law and order etc., if any thing happens we can blame Modi, BJP, Hindu parishath and finally say Communal forces trying destabilise the Govt. more
