Map of the Gurgaon master plan 2031

The Gurgaon Master Plan 2031 is now out. Some of the SEZ designated zone land has been converted to 7 new residential/commercial sectors. Some of the mysterious changes in 2031 plan are – increase in the size of sector 37-D, allotting the whole land piece in between GadoliKhurd& old sector-37 D to builder Ramprastha. However, the change of land use from SEZ to residential/commercial sectors will allow more residential space in the new sectors creating a high density residential cluster in Gurgaon, which will make it the residential core of Gurgaon.

The changes from theMasterplan 2025 as seen on Masterplan 2031 comprises of land on the northern side of Pataudi Road being converted into residential and commercial zones as well. New sectors — 95A, 95B, 89A, 89B, 88A, 88B and 99A — have been proposed in this area covering villages like Wazirpur, Hayatpur, Mohammedpur, GarouliKhurd, GarouliKalan and Harsaru.

Interestingly, villagers from these areas claim that a lot of Real Estate developers have already purchased land from them.

Similarly, Master Plan 2025 proposed a Transport Nagar spread across 28 hectares in Sector 33. This was to be developed by HUDA. A container depot had also been proposed adjoining Delhi-Rewari railway line. A Mass Rapid Transit System Corridor (MRTSC) along the NPR was proposed. Another MRTSC was proposed along Mehrauli road to extending up to the proposed 90-metre link road with Delhi via Gwalpahari.

But now the latest plan has approximately 50 hectares reserved for wholesale markets of building material, grain and vegetable market in Sector 99-A, on the northern side of railway line along newly proposed 75 metre-wide road. Also, a nearby area of 40 hectares has been reserved for idle parking where heavy vehicles can be parked. end user. more

Go and file a PIL in Chandigarh/Haryana High Court to put a stay on further development till all existing parts of Gurgaon are completed. All developments MUST get Completion Certificates (last one issued was in the 1960's) and provided with 24/7/365 electrcity, water, security and safe roads and security for ALL.... not just VIP's who come to "visit"..... who will "ensure this"...... Gurgaon Citizens Ombudsman consisting of "common residents" of Gurgaon. more
I can assure you..... what is "reported", like an iceberg, is only the tip of the tip of the massive corruption and hidden action and agenda below... is "made visible" for/to the public.... Gurgaon, and Haryana, cannot meet the "basic needs of Gurgaon between Delhi and Sohna Road.... but WITHOUT ANY INPUT from the public and residents (yes I live in Gurgaon too) have already made numerous Mater Plans which makes this city larger... and larger... and larger and the infrastructure fails to meet thd needs of houding, etc. "operational" for over a decade or two.... OUR ONLY HOPE IS TO DEMAND NO FURTHER PERMITS OR PLANS BE PREPARED TILL COMPLETION CERTIFICATES ARE ISSUED FOR ALL THE EXISTING AREAS/PERMITS. (FYI.... the last Completion Cetificate was issued in the 1960's.... so like a Ponzi scheme you keep expanding but never complete.... anything fully first). Now why are you and me not part of "the loop"..... well... read the 500 page Constitution and you will see there is NO PROVISION OR REQUIREMENT OF ANY ACTION BY APPOINTED AND ELECTED OFFICIALS FOR PUBLIC REVIEW AND/OR APPROVAL..... you are only "gifted" The Constitution which is then hijacked by the elected and appointed officials. So there you are..... these officials say..... DO NOT DISTURB US WE ARE TOO BUSY LOOTING THE EXCHEQUER..... and till you change this..... rewrite and simplify The Constitution to make governance accoutable to the people, in retl time, to the real masters of the nation..... we will just have to..... put up and shut up....!!!! more
Like local circle is used for national consultations, why cant Haryana Govt seek citizen inputs. Why are they not being inclusive? Has anyone written to them to see citizen feedback? more
The Town planners go on adding load to the already crumbling infrastructure- if at there is something called infrastructure in Gurgaon - but whether they are also planning for suffient Water, roads, public transport (as of now non existent in GGN). Nobody seems to think even 2 years into the future. Only God save Gurgaon!!! more
And here are some other news items related to the master plan, although they may be slightly prejudiced http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/gurgaon/NGT-asks-Haryana-why-large-tracts-of-Aravalis-not-in-NCZ/articleshow/51467289.cms http://www.business-standard.com/article/companies/gurgaon-master-plan-a-gold-mine-for-realtors-112110500076_1.html http://www.tribuneindia.com/news/haryana/huda-s-proposed-lake-raises-hackles-of-environmentalists/93357.html more
