MCG

Friends. You should not expect that MCG will do something for the people. You must remember who are there in the MCG. Either they are politicians or bureaucrats. The first group comes by spending crores 'before' or in elections and exploiting the caste, communal and other sensitive issues.
The bureaucrats come either because they are close to top politicians, Ministers etc., not beause they are efficient. Also, they have to pay monthly fee to their 'masters' to remain where they are.
Under these circumstances how can they find time or money to work for people.
The money budgeted is spent in ventures where there is maximum (up to 100%) commission.
We can make noise nothing else. more

Mr Haque, you are absolutely correct. Our problem is that we have expectations...we should not. No one in the govt or admin at any level has any accountability...so why should they serve us citizens? It is illogical for them to do so. And foolish for us to expect them to do so. We are a shamocracy. more
Strange, tragic and true what Asrarul said more
Our RWA people are also useless. They are happy by cornering money received for maintenance of parks. They get free cable, free fruit and vegetables from the vendors and commission from vendors more
They are more Politicians than Residents. Most of them join RWA for the freebees. In addition they take commission from different vendors, contractors etc. That is why they try to join as Office-bearers. more
is being said is generally believed or guessed to be open secret - still the people who assume the functional responsibility for any area , they have to perform and keep their image - while it looks like a complex system but we have little options open - and that is to - approach these functionaries and build public opinion about their approach and performance. In democracy the masters as well as those connected to them have instability every five years. more
