50% voter turnout in Bangalore. And citizens crib about bad roads, lakes etc. Corporates should sessions for their employees just before the elections on the importance of voting and also make it part of their appraisal system (CSR). more

Three major parties in the fray, none of them deserve, but we have to vote for some party/candidate-NOTA is not the solution. Better to vote for the party which forms the govt, let us give preference to the party over its candidate. I have voted with this logic. more

My relatives, their servants and neighbours have all voted. I carried my Sofa (shooting stick), my Roof (hat) and my Library (book) with me, However, the voting booths were empty. I was home within fifteen minutes. There are enormous crowds in Ambedkar and Madrasa dominated slums. as usual. Why not? The constitution has made India their country and outsiders out of the the Savarna. For thsoe who say the Nehur and Ambedkar plagiarized George Orwell's "Ami,al Farm", I say "NO". In Animal Farm, all are equal but some are more equal than others. The Brahmana Mahasabha issued a press release to vote for NOTA. Not one party came for discussions regarding the Brahmana pain and granting them parity with Moslems, Dalits, Christians etc. NOTA voters were not a small number. They are not small. They were 3,50,000 in Bangalore alone. Not all of them bothered to go and brave the queues, the hot Sun and the Dalit poll staff to actually cast their vote as I did. But it was NOTA all the same:
