Installation of communication Tower
What are the merits & demerits of installation of communication tower in residential area & what is admissible height for which communication tower can be installed in residential area. How much the radiation from the tower affects the persons residing there & whether tower companies got the approval from the government for such radiation limits of towers. What is the expected rent for installation of tower. Please share your views. more

Yes, there is radiation effect for human beings, animals, vegetables, fruits and plants. In my area all the coconut trees have reduced by numbers & size, thereafter the trees are drying & slow death. Mango trees have stopped production. There is high incidence of cancer. Lung Cancer for peoples who never smoke, liver cancer who were vegetarian, brain cancer who were simple citizens etc. Already in USA & Europe there is change of Tower Equipment Technology for low radiation, but in India neither TRAI nor the parliamentarian have voiced their concern for this deadly effects. The alternative lies in more cable based communication broad band with Wifi & at the last mile there will be low radiation towers. Is Govt. listening? more

There appear to be no serious research to establish ill effects of these towers. The tower companies have brushed aside concerns of activists and cited some reports, could even be sponsord ones, which are favourable to them. Its hightime Govt. initiate research to settle this finally and lay down regulations. People who are aware of ny side effects like cancer can pool the inform information to force the government. more

INSTALLATION OF THE MOBILE COMPANY'S TOWERS ARE PERMITTED BY THE OWNERS OF RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES FOR RENTAL REMUNERATION. HOWEVER, THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS SERIOUSLY AFFECTED DUE TO RADIATION FROM THE TOWERS. THERE ARE NO STRICT RULES FOR INSTALLATION OF SUCH TOWERS IN CROWDED LOCALITIES. UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCE, THE GOVT. SHOULD LAY DOWN STRICT CONDITIONS FOR INSTALLATION OF SUCH TOWERS IN CROWDED LOCALITIES SO THAT PEOPLE'S HEALTH IS NOT PUT TO JEOPARDY. more
