Flooding in Gurgaon

The root cause is RAMPANT Corruption. Land allotment/sale brings huge money, approvals of various plans bring another lot of money and it goes on and on.
As a result, everyone from top to bottom is engaged in making money. They have no time to bother about anything else.
Moreover, they know that no harm can be done to them. There is an old proverb: "Saiyaan bhae kotwaal to dar kaahe kaa" (when my hubby is the Kotwal, why should I be afraid?).
Every year the Courts pass strictures. But they are like "Toothless Tigers".
So, no need to worry. During rainy days either remain indoors or move to some other better place. Those who can afford can enjoy Foreign Tours. more

This is good governance!!!! more
Thanks for soliciting common man's suggestions. Rain or no rains, traffic management is chaotic in Gurgaon. The vehicles at red light are often much ahead of the stop line causing smooth movement of oncoming traffic. For Motor cyclists, there is no law. It is said that it happens with impunity at crossings with 3-4 traffic police officers. You are right that Gurgaon has become a money making machine more
ALLOW CORRUPTION, AT LEAST DO THINGS AND JOBS RIGHT, AFTER MAKING ALL THE CUTS; OUR TRAGEDY REMAINS BECAUSE THERE IS NO LIMIT TO HOW MUCH ONE WISHES TO MAKE! THAT IS WHAT IS WRONG IN OUR LAND AND THE SO-CALLED URBANISATION....THERE IS NO SOLUTION IN OUR BHARAT LAND. devinder chopra UN retiree in gurugram for the last 2 decades more
