Fake News Law must be embraced
Singapore’s Parliament passed legislation "Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation Act" with tough financial penalties or up to ten years jail to halt the spread of fake news, after the Government realised vulnerability due to the spread of disinformation online.

Fame news leading to riots , Clashes between Sections and Communities while resulting in even Deaths. Governments must Curb with Criminal Proceedings since these are anti national and anti social too. Country witnessed such in last 3 years resulting in rivalry between Classes and Communities and must be seriously viewed at national interest. more

it would be a disaster if the power is given to an Indian minister, who is basically a politician. Large number of Indian politicians have cases filed against them already. Even in Singapore, it would be better if the authority is judicial and a politician. more
