We have enforcing agencies in pen and paper, again, unless corruption goes there is no hope. Here comes the role of police, most of whom instead of standing up against corruption, is but a party to propagate and promote corruption! They wont learn... a policeman died under the flyover collapse in Posta, Kolkata. Why should we fret the police that can't stand up for themselves, yet they will stand up for citizens... what a mockery! more

Standards in the society and its activities evolve. Controls by regulations will only increase corruption. We have a Central Vigilance Commission. Has it reduced corruption? more

We have not fixed up the responsibilities in this regard. At U.K. the construction is guaranteed for 33, 66, 99 years in certification by an architect, a builder and the structural engineer. we have only profit mongers and no responsibility. The supervision, water curing and material quality control is the responsibility of these three so called experts, but nobody is responsible, nobody has time to mourn the victims, nobody repends and if booked for disaster the third rate investigation system cannot cope-up, overall we deserve a disaster. making laws and laws but not nailing the suckers with primary rule and responsibility. more
