cashless Electricity dept.

Unable to pay on line this month our electricity bill. popped along to power house margao. paid by cheque. enquired why no on line payment this month. to be told by head cashier. "contract has been cancelled"
The strangest part of this story is we did pay on line, our water bill. odd!!!!!

Cant understand, when our PM is promoting on line payments our local electricity department cancels on line payment.

Could this be true or just bad communications??????? more

What surprises me is the lack of interest that people display ,when a site goes down or a payment rejected, when the govt is supposed to be helping make bank to bank payments easy. more

thank you naresh, but where is this new site? and how to get there? i did try a direct payment but was askd for a contract number, never heard of this. again thanks but more info plz. more

PM just gives direction but people have to come forward to achieve the same and bring to their notice the difficulties encountered . more

You can pay electricity bill online but from new site. I paid my bill. more
