BSNL Dwindling service
My land line no. 26830849 in Bangalore has been partially out of order for the past six months. While I am able to receive calls I am not able to make calls from my phone.I have been making complaints to the Customer service repeatedly.Every time I get a call from some one who assures that the phone would be set right but nothing happens.I get a message on my mobile stating that the complained has been set right. Since my payment is on ECS basis the company takes its payment every month. Fed up with this situation I found out the e mail addresses of the seniors and have written at least four reminders. Absolute silence.Whenever a complaint is made some one calls up as usual and says will be rectified and nothing happens.
We have been using BSNL for over 50 years and this is the second time such serious issues have come up. First time I decided to switch my Internet from BSNL to ACT last year but if this situation continues I have to give up land line also. Only problem is that will they refund my deposits promptly. That seems to be a million dollar question.
Does anyone else have a complaint.

BSNL HAS TWO PROBLEM, ONE GOVERNMENT WANTS TO BUTCHER IT, THE DEPARTMENT HAS BECOME SENILE. UNLESS BSNL REPAIRS ITS OWN FUNCTIONING NONE CAN EXPECT GOOD RESULT. FOR YOUR INFORMATION, THEIR COMPLAINT WEBSITE HAS GOT NO RESPONSE TO THE COLUMN others. IF SOMEONE CLICK OTHERS THEY CLOSE WITH A THANKS. SO IDIOTIC. more

Dear Venkatachalam. From your phone number revealed by you,it seems that your complaint is related to Land Line service. The right course of action is to examine whether you can port your service to other private service providers, by retaining the same number. Thereafter, give a final written notice seeking to stop the the ECS facility, and in the same notice, give a maximum of 15 days' time to attend and solve your complaint, and still, if your grievance is not redressed, you may simply port to other service provider. The option of Complaining to Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum (CDRF) is also open to you. more

Surrender the connection at-least to save the bill amount. Even they are not refunding the Security deposit made at the time of taking connection by sighting Central Govt funds. Have tweeted to PM, FM, RBI & TRAI, No use they are not even responding for the tweets. Have surrendered my Broadband connection for the worst service more than a year. more
