Avoid taking a home loan from ICICI. They manipulate interest rates so that your 10 year tenure for home loan becomes 20 years.

They cover their losses (say, in cases like Mr Mallya) by keeping your housing loan rates very high. When RBI increases rates, they jump in and increase double. When RBI reduces rates, they do nothing. Such banks should not be allowed to exist.
