Bangalore City Junction (SBC)

Still not clean enough and not world class. Does not reflect the city of Bangalore. The following are some suggestions (a) Modernize the station with new design (b) Make the station sustainable (c) Increase parking facilities (d) Include plants and gardens in the station to reflect the city (e) Integrate better with the bus station and metro station across the street (f) make it disabled friendly (g) improve signage and diaplays.

Cleanliness need to be improved. Platform 7/8 really stinks.
Facilities for food/drinks are not maintained properly esp quality of food.
Information esp reg availability of battery car for old people is not displayed prominently indicating whom to contact.
More toilets are needed esp on each platform and they need to be maintained properly.
Lift available is not working properly and i have always seen it locked up.

lot has improved in SBC after NDA Govt came , much more needs to be done in order to achieve International standards . 
1. Need More Platforms in the station , since many trains have to wait outside the stations for Platforms .
2. Rest rooms needs to be kept more clean and people who litters on platforms need to be penalized on spot .
3. Its really sad to say that Tracks in Bengaluru are not updated with auto signalling till now which is leading to much more crossing problems .
4. Development of BYPNL Station as another Terminal is long pending issue in order to reduce congestion in the SBC needs to given importance at the earliest .
5. SWR needs to take up the Suburban Rail project at the earliest and help people of Bengaluru and travellers to Bengaluru for smooth travel. 

Cleanliness on platforms to be improved a lot.
Platforms 5 onwards, very poor condition.  When it rains, platform 5 pours inside.  Lighting arrangement not sufficient.  Very narrow space to move freely.
Possibility of introducing conveyors across platforms to be considered for aged, handicapped and ladies with children.
Escalators for going down the stairs also to be introduced.
Platforms 5, 9, 10 will be stinking.  To be kept clean.
Ticket issue for Senior Citizens - Counter will be used by other also, hence senior citizens are forced to stand in queue.
