Bangalore City Junction (SBC)

Chennai central and Egmore stations are more cleaner now. The people using these stations do have responsibility to continue the cleanliness. The efforts are to be a continuous one. The garbage throwers and others dirtying the stations can be monitored through cameras and fine be imposed.

Rourkela Railway Station: Though Railways are doing everything to maintain the station premises clean, public co operation is lacking which results in a filthy atmosphere. The railweay station boundary walls are used as open air urinals and even for defecating by the people who make the platforms their home in the nights and the porters who are basically from Bihar. Some stern action needs to be taken to improve the situation.
There are 5 platforms in the station which is insufficient. There is enough space for a 6th, 7th & 8th platform and railways should think over this matter to reduce the crowding of trains which results in holding up long distance trains at the outer for more than 109-15 minutes at times.
There is no ramp in the platforms. This results in hiring porters even for small luggages. A new FOB was recently constructed but this was also stair case. Railways could have made this into a ramp.
Such an important station where long distance trains have a stoppage of a minimum 7 minutes, does not have a Food Plaza.

Need improvement being the IT Hub and MTERO city. it is only average to that level. Tequires : over all neatness, need Escalators in all the platforms, Proper dispaly of trains , platform nos ( Plat from nos should be clearly visible at many locations in the platform), well managed prepaid Taxi and Auto stand etc

WALTAIR STATION, VISAKHAPATNAM, ANDHRA PRADESH
1. AT PLATFORM NOS. 2 & 3 AND 4 & 5 PROVIDED WITH ESCALATORS ARE NOT FUNCTIONING SINCE LONG IN ONE FLYOVER OUT OF TOTAL 3 FLYOVERS. IF THESE ESCALATORS RUN, PASSENGERS WILL BE BENEFITED.
2. THERE IS NO GOOD ARRANGEMENTS FOR TICKET CHECKING IN EACH PLATFORMS.
3. Remaining above points, it is cleanly maintaining,
4. AC Waiting hall is well maintaining.
5. Many of the trains are held up at outings and takes normally 10-20 minutes to reach platform beyond schedule.
6. There is no RPF service at Platforms.

bangalore city rly. station is total chaos. from front entering the station is a herculean task. front portion before the platform one is fully occupied by shops and full of people sleeping blocking the way..from back side one has to be very careful to enter platform 5 and 6. there is no arrow mark showing the way for platform 5 &6. .
