Airtel

Service of provider deteriorating due to poor network. Moreover there is no transparency of usage of network. Bills should provide details of user consumption call wise to satisfy the customer.

My Airtel cell phone does not accept the emergency contact number of Kolkata Police 100, or as 033100, or as 009133100. And the 121 customer care executive says Airtel does not recognize this number!!!

I have an Airtel mobile since 2004. To my dismay I find that I can not contact the emergency number in Kolkata by dialing 100 on my mobile. When I dial 100, the display shows "attempting emergency call" then I get an automated voice message, " This number is not valid. Please check the number you have dialed".
This is atrocious. This means when I am on the move, say on a taxi, and I need to contact emergency, I can not do it. Airtel must be punished a very hefty fine for this lapse. They must immediately provide this service. There must not be any option given to Airtel. This is a basic need.

Frequent Call Drops & Network issue remains with airtel. Not even seamless connection in trains & network is lost at many main stations.
