Though we have already enjoyed 70 years of independence, our Parliament is still unable to make full proof laws convenient to all to understand and comply with. All laws are left with some loopholes to derive benefit thereof by some groups of people deceiving the common man and the Parliament wakes up only when there are criticism from all corners and proceeds to supplement with amendments. This is our tragedy as well as tradition. more  

Our rules are also found sometime become hard to understand. While there is a rule that the commodities need to be packed in 100 gms, 200 gms, 500 gms or alike, there is also a rule that the commodities can be packed also in terms of rounding off to the values like Rs. 10/-, Rs. 20/- etc. We should have a simple rule that the commodities should be packed in rounding off in terms of the quantity, weight etc. more  

The reaction/response of most members appears to be the same......hence, the point addressed by Mr Juneja has its full justification! more  

Many companies have been indulging in this sort of practice just to gain more profit without the customer knowing it. Government should enact a law to standardise the weights of products sold in the market. more
