Two Different electricity bills for the same meter no with two different consumer id

How to deal with the electricity bills issue. I got two Different electricity bills for the same meter no with two different consumer id for the same period but huge difference amount. In electricity office no one respond. I am worried about any legal action for not paying the bill. So far i have received bills with four consumer ids and the new bill is not adjusted with the payment already made with previous bills. Really appreciate any proper guidance. more

Really sad and appalling situation, if no one in the Electricity Department came forward to look into the matter. more  
Compare readings on previous bill, current bill and on the meter. Which matches pay that bill and also submit written representation more  
Submit a complaint giving details of your problem. Attach copies of all bills and copy of last paid receipt to regional office and copy to HO of electricity company. Submit your complaint to regional office in person and get a receipt for that. Speed Post copy of your complaint to HO. Please give maximum details of the problem. Wait for their reply and if nothing happens send them a reminder with notice that if matter is not attended to in particular time you will be filing a case in consumer court. Contact consumer guidance center of your city. Check on internet for address of consumer guidance centres in your city. more  
kINDLY check details of your Meter reading wrt last and present and secondly mention load which should be your sanctioned. O P GARG PATIALA more  
This must have happened due to some technical faults. Better contact the electricity office of your area personally to get the issue settled on hand. more
