Sir, excel utility is not to be unprotected. It has macro so after opening enable macro only. Without any problem it will work. more
Dear Sir, You need not unprotect this file.Just use the tab "enable content" and start posting the data.Validate all sheets for "ok" status.Once you are through with posting all details and validated each and every page you use "calculate tax button " to arrive at final tax payable/refundable.Convert this excel file to XML file using appropriate button. You can upload this XML file on efiling system after logging on with you user ID(Pan number) and password. Rgds, S.Balakrishnan more
Brij sir, you can take help of any CA for filling your return at nominal charges. It will be helpful if you have multiple source of income. If only one source then please check on google or you tube there must be some video to assist. more
I have been uploading the return through Jawa platform. So I can tell you the procedure. If you have Jawa available (if not, please down load it through the link given in income tax depth web site) then you may download refilled XML file (which will be filled based on the information you have filled last year). Now you may open the .jar file and upload your downloaded XML file. Start filling data and saving draft XML file at regular intervals. Fill only unshaded columns. Shaded columns will be automatically det filled. After completing you may check the filled form by authenticating each sheet. Every thing will be checked and error if any will be pointed out. After this you may upload the XML file after logging in to IT department web site. I hope this should help you. more
