Not only mrp, swiggy's delivery charges fir groceries are also high. We paid ₹90 as service charge on a grocery bill of ₹200. more

These multinationals dare to do the mischief because of customers like you who rely on these chains to display their status rather than relying on the local grocery shops surrounding them. Such customers are fond of displaying status but not prepared to shell out few extra bucks istead of going on tiredless complaining. more

Charging more than MRP, and in these days of coronavirus crisis is the crime against society and these criminal retailers must be taken to task under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The Swiggy people should be exposed and challaned heavily. The overcharged value based on the quantity of the items sold at their retail counter must be calculated and recovered for refund to the identifiable consumers and from unidentifiable ones the money should be deposited in CWF. Similar overcharge is made by the retailers in trading business of Hearing Aids in the name of marketing of German Technique for the hearing aid system and the battery cells, manifolds of the landed price. I shall be placing the details in the LC. I do not know why, I am losing confidence in the GoI DoCA because of ineffective governance of the consumer affairs. Still, pray, the Government of India in the Department of Consumer Affairs will show its will to protect consumers from fleecing by the trade and industry. I have great expectations from the present bureaucracy. more
