Selling bisleri - charging gst above MRP
Who will book such offenders who still charge gst over MRP. Is maharashtra controller active or they just allow industry to take consumers for a ride?? See attached. more

I also appreciate Mohan Siroya's post . Kindly read the receipt carefully . Now the question of that Rs. extra 10 has to be asked and settled with the dealer . Or else you will have to change the dealer who charges just the M.R.P. and delivery free. more

Sailesh Deshmukh,please read the bill carefully. While Rs. 80.36 is MRP down below the bill amount is Rs. 90 which includes Rs. 10 as delivery charge of Rs. 20 Ltr. Bottle. The GST shown is part of your MRP only I.e.Rs. 80.36. Rs. 150 is the refundable deposit of the bottle. Thus GST is not charged over and above MRP and you can not make a case against the dealer. In fact you are lucky that your dealer has charged a mere Rs.10 as delivery charge. Many dealers charge even 20 -25 as delivery charge depending on the distance where the bottle is to be delivered. more

Please check the bill image again. The GST is charged over and above the MRP. The total cost of the Can is Rs. 90/- including GST.
