Sellers manipulating MRP on ecommerce

Sellers continue to trick customers by manipulating MRP online. See example attached. Product with MRP 390 selling at 10% discount for 351 on Amazon. Same exact product showing MRP of 510 on Flipkart and with 23% discount selling at real MRP which is 390. So in a nut shell the smart seller has decided he will bump MRP by the discount percentage he wants to show consumer. This is why the MRP tag must be shown by all ecommerce sites. Funny thing is seller is same on both sites. Its Miniso India which also has stores. Amazed why they would play with consumers like this. more

As discussed earlier, while fixing MRP a Govt Representative must always be there in that Organisation. Unless Govt does this nothing can Improve. more
There is yet another fraudulence in MRP. Many producers keep the area before MRP as blank and they print or impression method the MRP else where which is invisible. Further, the sellers apply black pain over MRP and sell as they like. Some sellers or distributors stick the sticker with MRP rate as they like and sell. These are the various methods of fraudulence which Govt.shout their eyes. more
I wonder whether such information reaches the authorities, which are responsible for reprimanding/penalising such sellers. more
