The PAN number can be obtained on-line. You have to provide your name and some other information on-line. more
Dear Naveen, Do you remember/know your last PAN Card Number? If yes there are multiple genuine legal ways to get it back as suggested by circle's respected members. If you don't remember your pan number - Please get from any hardcopy of ITR filed. OR TDS Made from your employer in your payslip. OR from your bank where you have account. OR any transaction where you made payment abobe 50k Rs. Regards Arun more
As suggested by Mr Shanbhag, you may apply on line. The cost is Rs 96/- (Approx). Alternately, you may approach any TRP/ consultant who will guide or apply for you at a nominal fee. more
Having two or more PAN Cards with same PAN number is not an offence. You apply on line at nsdl or uti-pan to get your duplicate PAN Card with same PAN number as on lost card. UYou will get your duplicate PAN Card by post within a month at your home by registered post. You have to pay a small fee of Rs.100/- or around to get it when you apply for your duplicate PAN card. more
