Perhaps it is not fair to intervene in the business of the Government. Whatever the Government has done must have been done carter consulting the experts keeping in view the health of an Indian. more
Why should the government be forced to reintroduce an already banned product? One can easily find out another suitable medicine to treat acidity. Even several homeopathy and ayurvedic medicines are available to treat acidity. more
For your kind information, Ranitidine does not cause cancer. It was banned because some contaminant was found in products from a few Indian Pharma companies. The contaminant is the cancer causing agent & it was in very minute quantities, not enough to cause cancer. The government banned it as a temporary measure so that the company factories can be overhauled. Ranitidine salt will be released in the market after that. When you read any article, please make sure you read the whole article, not just the headlines. You seem to have misunderstood the article. This is what happens due to excessive activism from whatsapp & facebook universities. I don't care if you are offended by my statement but I am only bothered about the facts and the truth. If you had told the facts, I would have like your statement. What you are doing is fear mongering, whether intentionally or unintentionally. more
They should ban ranitidine immediately but how long will it take to do so? more
