will you say the same thing to private bus rates also , esp. during diwali time and flight rates during peak season?
Please understand this is flexi pricing. the prices are determined by demand supply gap. everyone does this in business. This is not unfair at all. If you find they are looting, you have an option of not going. no compulsions more
Radio taxis, autos, kali peeling are governed by their union and management. Government has role. They flatley refusing. Government should provide control room alert no for a customer to notify defying auto, taxies etc. Government should on the spot suspend the license for refusal to cart passenger and for surging rate to cancel license for 12 months. This is possible only when the officials handling these issues are corruption free. more
Yes, they are in Business. There should be a guidelines regarding meeting with the emergency situation, in which every thing should be covered whether transportation, evacuation procedure etc. It should be centralized controlled by the government organisation. There after, we may see some improvement and even will get satisfactorily response from all concerned department / organization. more
Mr. Gadkari has taxed individuals but has left the Auto Drivers who refuse to move with meters, OLA and UBER who may hay like in Rains. What country are we living in. What type of Govt we have? They just sign papers and even their own states refuse to implement. Well we are heading for Anarchy. more
We people have elected them. more
Dear Sir/Madam,
Do "Kali Peeli" taxi follow normal rates during rains or traffic jams etc.? If not why blame Uber and Ola alone? If Govt. owned utility services like Railways do that, that are expected to serve poor population, how can we blame private operators. Only way perhaps is by attracting more players in (as in Mobile communication sector) to increase competion so that they operate at minimum acceptable margin of profit and also improve services to remain competitive.

Initially this policy of railway was welcome by us. more
