Rain and Uber Ola
Tomorrow and day after again Mumbai will see heavy rains. Last time when it happened Uber was looting
Will they take action to minimize instances of profiteering more
Please understand this is flexi pricing. the prices are determined by demand supply gap. everyone does this in business. This is not unfair at all. If you find they are looting, you have an option of not going. no compulsions more
Do "Kali Peeli" taxi follow normal rates during rains or traffic jams etc.? If not why blame Uber and Ola alone? If Govt. owned utility services like Railways do that, that are expected to serve poor population, how can we blame private operators. Only way perhaps is by attracting more players in (as in Mobile communication sector) to increase competion so that they operate at minimum acceptable margin of profit and also improve services to remain competitive.
