PVR Cinemas and other cineplexes
There is a lot of merit in having mandatory vending machines at PVR cinemas.

Essentials better to carry along with. Don’t you see that our young ones carry water bottle to their school? more

"Akhir iss murz ki dava kya hai?" said our good old Mirza Ghalib! And now to the brass-tacks! Is paying Rs.40 for one litre of water or paying Rs. 150 or more for a sandwich inside a PVR for a period of, say, two hours or so that "uncomfortable" for you as consumer? The so-called "popcorn-society has developed also a market hole for the PVRs. Do you ACTUALLY drink that much of water at home in two hours or can you really not survive without that sandwich or for those popcorns for two hours that you watch the film..? So, make your choice. If you do not like the PVR prices, then go there prepared with a stomach full of food and drink. The more people think this way, the sooner the prices within the PVRs would come down. Satyagraha, friends.........is a strong weapon! Having said that, let's not be inconsiderate about the shops there which have to pay relatively huge rentals to acquire the place within the PVR................. It's kind of give and take.....the final choice, however, is yours and yours only! more

It is generating income from multiple channels. The government will not interfere, as they fund the political parties including the ruling parties. more
