Poor services of BSNL

I have a BSNL Connection in Greater Noida (0120-2343532) which does not work almost 203 days every week. When I met Divisional Engineer, I was told that he is aware of the problem but is helpless as the cards are not functional and batteries of invertor are overlived and thus not functional. Our phones about complaints are never lifted by BSNL Officers.
When I write to CMD, BSNL, the phones become functional within hours, but the question is whether, a consumer should write to CMD on daily basis.

The top authorities must look into such problems, as these are not faced by me only, but by all those living in viscinity, but are shy of complaining for whatever reasons.

No authorities in BSNL are prepare to listen to the consumers' grievances. They are concerned only with their fatty pay packets and are now eager to get the 7th Pay Commission's recommendations implemented. Every now and then I require to lodge complaints about my Broad-band connection. Every time the work is allotted to a lay man who is a telephone line man and doesn't know anything of broad band. On recording the complaint, the very next day a land line call comes to ask whether the telephone is working properly or not. One pointing out that the complaint relates to broad band and not the phone, he simply disconnect the line and on the 3rd days a message comes on the mobile that the issue has been attended and dealt with though the problems continue. There is no one to listen. I have decided to lodge all my future complaints directly to Ravishankar, the Telecom minister to his email address which can be retrieved from the net. more
this is not possible to every middle class people. you luckily got the number and solved the problem, the BSNL staff at least now change their attitude towards customers, as already there was competition from private sector. they should think about. most of the people are handing over BSNL landline phone. they must understand what is the problem. they think it and take a firm decision otherwise it will face severe problem in future also more
Sh.Ashok Lal Ji is lucky that on writing to CMD his problem solved. Mr Puthucode Ananthraman suggestion to write to CMD with a copy to Mr.Ravi Parsad Minister have already been sent a number of times. It was also mentioned so many time that I will complain on social media and also wrote on twitter of the Minister. The problem of number 1500 and its fake resolution of complaint is happening with me for which I made complaint to CMD also and like Sh.Uttra Chandra “ When u book a complaint at number 1500 they take the complaint and promptly after a day they send u a msg. stating the complaint resolved without resolving . What happened with Sh.NVS Sankaram same happened with me as CMD twice tagged complaint and forwarded to CGM Haryana Circle Ambala. The present Govt is dreaming DIGITAL INDIA BUT BSNL in developed area cannot ensure proper signal. The horrible picture can be seen from BSNL mails sent to me which are available with me. The grievance does not end here as BSNL local officials make wrong reporting to their higher ups. When mail was sent to CMD that their officials are wrongly reporting for which I do have record than their officials contacted and earlier wrong reporting mail was cancelled. TILL DATE BSNL HIGHER OFFICIALS NEITHER TOLD ME THE NAME OF OFFICIAL WHO WRONGLY REPORTED NOR THEY TOOK ANY ACTION AGAINST THE OFFICIAL WHO MISLEAD SENIOR MOST OFFICIAL/CMD. REGARDING SLOW SPEED LOCAL OFFICIALS SAY THAT SLOW SPEED IS FROM BACK END i.e from AMBALA BUT THEY DO NOT TAKE ANY ACTION. HOWEVER MY FIGHT IS CONTINUED AND HOPE THAT PROPER SIGNAL WILL BE BROUGHT TO THE HOUSE AND BSNL WILL NOT PUNCTURE DIGITAL INDIA. more
The BSNL authorities at the field level starting from JTO/ SDO are not interested in giving service to the consumers. Every work is run on a contractual basis. No one responds to the complaint given through 1500. Sitting in the exchange, the operator simply enquires and a massage comes that your complaint has been resolved. The full mechanism works mechanically and there is no need of any JTO and SDO. When they are not responsive, whey should the post continues. more
