Poor Quality of MRF Tyres .

I bought Maruti Ertiga from Kiran Motors Maharashtra, Mumbai, in September-2017, with MRF TubelessTyres fitted .
Till now vehicle has run only 32 K Kms, but two of my Tyres got 9 to 11 punctures on single occasion. ( There are atleast 4/5 punctures on edge of tyre, which is not coming in direct contact with ground surface or very little abrassion ) 1st one when I was travelling to native place, in September-2018, and second incidence happened just last week, while going for long drive again. Generally, Tyres get wear and tear after 40 to 50 K Kms. and accordingly, many tyre dealers offer 40 to 50 K Kms Unconditional warranty against any such damage.

I raised the issue with MRF thru Maruti, but MRF could not given any reasonable and satisfactory answer for such untimely damaged to tyres.

I think any tyre either bought directly thru dealer or with vehicle should have warranty upto 40 to 50 K Kms, and and deviation from this warranty should be treated as deficiency in service. Sharing with all concerned since I feel there is something wrong . more

MRF is a reputed company. In the 1990s tires with tube gave excellent service even though Mumbai Pune highway Nr Harry's Bridge was dug up with sharp stones I traveled without a single puncture. Now coming to tubeless tyres, Bridgestone is good as recommended by Hyundai. Pl try this. more
go to MRF and discuss the matter with their officer , they will find solution. be sure. Just go to them once. more
Thanks for your suggestion, any office location of MRF in Mumbai suburbs... more
it has happened to me also in case of JK & MRF tyres. never use these companies tyres . after just fixing the new tyres of JK & MRF the edge of the tyre got bubbles in swollen shape and after complaining same to the manufacturers the I got the replacement. NEVER & EVER BUY JK & MRF tyres. best is CEAT. more
MRF is a renowned Brand and should maintain it's quality,in case of any quality problem they should replace or give adequate compensation to customer to keep their reputation up. However quality check & consumer forum should take appropriate action & redress the complaint. more
Same thing happened to me as well. The quality of tyres of this company has sharply deteriorated in recent years. The company must initiate urgent corrective steps in this regard or get prepared to face the ultimate fate, as no entity could continue existence for a long period by engaging in cheating activities. more
