Open irregularities in the Bus stands

At all the major bus stands, I have observed that the shops, fruit vendors sell the fruits and other stuff which is weighed inappropriately. One kg is nearly 600gm only. Still no action. I was at solapur bus stand yesterday and was a victim too. more

we have to complain to local Legal Metrology whenever purchasing and cross check on the same day. Dr.P.Rama Rao Hon.Secretary Visakha Consumers` Council more
The vendors must be allowed against licence and should be under super vision of various government agencies like - weights and measures, Sanitary Health Inspector for foods etc. more
There are two very pertinant coments by members . One is of survival problem , the other how they survive illegally. Botha re humanitarian comments which needs attention. Acoording to Mr. Unnikrishnan " Since the government is unable to provide employment to those who want to work and further not provides any social security such as food, cloth, health care etc., it cannot restrict those who are surviving of their own. " The other comment needs attention not only from the Government , but also from the public. As Mr. Jyoti Dua opined " there is other side of it too. This poor vendor has to regularly pay Hafta to Police, BMC Officials and Local goons etc to stay where he can make his living. " NOW WHERE WE DO STAND , * AVOID BUYING FROM THEM or * CORRECT THE SYATEM . It is our decision , dont postpone . CHHERS. more
Since the government is unable to provide employment to those who want to work and further not provides any social security such as food, cloth, health care etc., it cannot restrict those who are surviving of their own. There are people around who do crime simply to go to jail and live peacefully. more
Electronic weighing machines also can be tampered with in a no. of ways.A crook can befool a purchaser (and even an inspector - unless he examines the machine with certified/standard weights. It is advisable to purchase such items, only from licensed vendors/shops. more
Electronic devices including the Voting machines are not 100% tamper

proof. All depends on the Government if they want to be just to the people

at least who voted them. more
