This industry must be regulated as these games are designed to draw gamers in and in order to make what would be considered normal advancement through the game the gamer would have to pay handsomely for powers or points.

There should also be an community awareness program offered so parents can be informed before this becomes a bigger problem in our society.

This is a new industry and India internet network is reaching more and more individuals especially from country regions who don't have the sophistication or experience of the urban dweller. This form of paying for points is no that dissimilar to gambling which comes in various shapes and forms nowadays. Video Game addictive behaviour is becoming increasingly common and add money for points into the equation and it is a recipe for a up and coming gambling industry. Sure we should be concerned about over Governmental control especially when it concern our civil liberties but when it comes to addictive activities, especially where there is a human cost such as gambling, cigarette smoking, illicit drug use, pornography, prostitution etc. What do we know about the statistics of abuse/addiction that comes from this form of internet gaming? So I want to bring attention to this issue and what action may come of it is not up to me but I firmly believe that it is a worth issue. more
