Network Capacity Fees

After the recent notification by TRAI regarding pay per channel, I recently tried selecting the channels which I usually watch. After finalising the selection, a breakup of charges was displayed on the screen, which included Network Capacity Fees of Rs. 153. Attached is the screenshot for your quick reference. Can someone please explain what this means and is a DTH provider allowed to charge this ? more

Network capacity Fee amount (130+GST) is the amount you have to pay irrespective of the pay channels you have been selecting. This amount is charged for using the network from operator and in return your respective operator has to provide minimum 100 channels which are Free to air. Thus essentially it brings rationalize revenue share and transparent Channel selecting Process. However it also brings Cable TV Operators and DTH Operators under the ambit of GST which will bring more revenue to Government and will bring more burden to Common Man. more
Same here. however I think this is the minimum amount (130 + 18% GST) payable by the viewer against 100 free channels of his choice. more
is it MG /rental amount of rs 130 plus 18 % GST on part of service provider more
The total fee paid will certainly go up from the current amounts more
I am not able to understand the break up of the bill from the attached picture . The figure of Rs.150 for network capacity doesn't appear at all. more
