Both these companies are continuing to flout mrp rules and I now wonder if they are having some arrangement with local inspectors that they dont get booked.

There is nothing to be wonder as its the traditions of our country that the traders and the inspectors and the politicians do make all sorts of arrangements and understandings to loot the common men and pile up their wealth. If you are a mighty (wealthy) personality, you can also have such arrangements easily to multiply your wealth. more

Dear All...Myntra, Jabong & Amazon are e-tailers and not manufacturers. In many cases where the manufacturer is different, the companies enclose Bill of the manufacturer and in Amazon, they give you an Invoice however the Invoice is printed on thermal paper and its shelf life is perhaps 1-2 weeks if it is properly maintained. Possibly they do it so that the proof would no longer be available by the time the consumer wakes up to lodge a complaint. I had a similar experience with Amazon - however I wrote directly on the facebook page of the manufacturer and he quickly responded sending his technical support team to solve the problem with the Mixer Grinder. more

Yes your presumption may be correct. They must be having some arrangement with local inspectors for which they don't get booked. more

Amazon is the same. Sooner people themselves need to decide their fate. Do not expect the government to do anything for you. All these companies have "proper" backing. more
