Multiple Quantity price online is an issue
See attached Printed MRP of 1 pen Rs. 400; So MRP of 3pens Rs.1200. Amazon seller onlinestationeryshop claims 3 pens' MRP Rs.1500, Post discount price 1380. Thus seller is charging Rs.180 more than the MRP printed on the boxes.
Online sellers have a minimim quantity and a price associated. Since they are selling more than 1 unit, they put their own MRP which is inaccurate.
In this case shouldnt the mrp of single item prevail.

Definitely it's illegal sir. Please report this to amazon customer care and also make a complaint with local legal metrology office. more

The only solution is "before placing order, examine the local market price" and customer rating. more

The set of three pens is offered with four cartridges and ink converter, whereas single pen is offered with three cartridges only . As such, products are not and comparable and hence the price. more

From the Pictures shared it seems that we are referring to 2 different packaged items. In the case of single Pen package the box contains 1 pen, 1 ink convertor and 3 ink cartridges. While in the case of 3 pen package offer, each box contains 1 pen, 1 ink converter and 4 ink cartridges. So you get total 3 pens, 3 ink convertors and 12 ink cartridges. Probably the price difference is due to the 3 extra ink cartridges you are going to get. more
