MRP and expiry date display

I thought it was mandatory to display MRP and expiry date on ecommrce websites. See attached snapdeal. No MRP, no Expiry Date.

Will legal metrology controllers take action or not? more

Nothing happen in Govt website. That is why Govt working with circles. Atleast good naming and shaming of offenders is happening here. more

Lot of online shopping items who do not mention the mrp resort to showing as if they are giving big discounts by jacking up the price very high to show as if we are getting a cashback. These are some of the gimmicks which online portals use and we need to be very clear and have a good idea of the price either by visiting local shops to ascertain the same. Govt also need to formulate a code of conduct for online portals regarding this. more
