Medicines for heart problems
Friends I know a very poor lady patient suffering from some heart problems. Some how managed to show her to doctors at AIIMS. They prescribed her some drugs which she has to have everyday. I have been helping her with some funds to get medicines, which roughly cost about 1800/- per month.
Can anyone help letting me know if any charity could provide her with these medicines.

I must thank, first, Mr. Anil Marwah for sponsoring the treatment to the poor lady. Besides, in the Rajkumari Amrit Kaur (RAK) Block there is a window for dispensing of charitable medicines. Secondly, there is a shop in Yusuf Sarai near AIIMS known as "Helpline Pharmacy" located at No.18/4 Main Market, Yusuf Sarai where one may get medicines at great discount - may be upto 40-50%. Nearby, there is another shop by the name of "Apna Bazar" where also one can get such cheap medicines. Thirdly, in the AIIMS campus itself near RAK Block there is a Medicine Dispensing Centre where one can get generic medicines free of cost. more

For heart problems the most important are[1]Met-xl for BP[2]Clopitab[3]Other nueropathic or chlorestal tablets. These drugs are available at 1/4 or 25% cost in Generic shops equivalent are vaialable or even same company same drug but costs 25% only[maximum Rs35/- per strip]Calcium and Vitamin D-3 rea vailable at Rs.15/- per strip and Rs.40/- per 4 tablets respectively. So please first find a generic shop list her prescription and buy all vitamins and drugs,balance one or two may not be available in generic shop.Her expenses per month will come down to Rs400/- more
