Many of Our tax inspectors are so dumb

Rahul Bose an actor was charged 440 rupees for 2 bananas by mariott Chandigarh. No doubt it was wrong.

Problem now is whole system over reacting. The gst inspectors look at receipt and say its illegal that the hotel charged 18% gst on fruits.

They are so dumb. The 18% gst is on the service that 5 stat provided in its restaurant.

Can someone please train these legal metrology and gst people so they dont make a fool of themselves and also tell 5 stars to put an end to their loot.

The GST charged for 2 Bananas (disguised as fruit platter) is Rs. 67.5/-. Anywhere in open market i.e. at fruit stall or fresh fruit section of any mall, one could have bought a dozen Bananas. What a reality more
