LTA query

My friend has one question for LTA. If we travel as given below then are we eligible for LTA for all these roots?

1) Pune to Delhi (by plane)
Delhi to Mussoorie (by bus)
2) Mussoorie to Delhi (by bus)
Delhi to Mumbai Central (by train)
Panvel (Navi Mumbai) to Pune

Now am I eligible for all these travel expenses? Our company's finance department told me that it has to be point to point. Also let me know if there is any link where it has been mentioned about it in detailed. more

If you have travelled by bus it has to be govt Bus & not private bus.You can submit the ticket & can claim. Alternative: Calculate the distance between Delhi to Mussoorie & can claim equivalent train fare. Rest there is no issue the entire amount can be claimed. more
As per prevailed regulations for LTA.. this is allowed and dont seems to be any issue. Here what is not allowed is that if your destination is MSSR n you are not taking up shortest path. However pune to delhi via air n then via bus/cab is absolutely fine.. more
Certainly it is point to point. In your case it is from Pune to Mussoorie and back to Pune. Mode of transport and route does not matter. You will be compensated for the fare by the shortest route, in accordance with your entitlement. If the money you spent is less than your entitlement, you will be compensated to the extent of the actual amount spent by you. You may look for Govt. of India rules for LTC, if they are applicable to you. more
VIJAY is absolutely right . You will get from Pune to Mussoorie by shortest route . Return may be adjusted because the route is not shortest. more
To my knowledge, the allowance is for point to point travel. The farthest point is to be declared first. Refer the LTA rules of SWAMY's BOOKs more
If this is the case then I won't be eligible for Delhi to Mussoorie and Mussoorie to Delhi - am I right (as my home town is Pune)? more
