i still see plastic bags more
I wish to share some of my habits in this aspect that can be easily be followed by all and will be of great use to avoid plastic garbage: I always carry cloth bags while go for shopping (and always keep in my vehicle) If plastics bags are taken from the shop, I keep it and use it as many times as possible and finally store it separately to put in the plastic waste. I never put vegetable waste/food waste in the plastic bags (and throw it). I carry a metal (carrier) container for purchasing non-veg items I always insist for the paper packaging while buying. It is the high time that the governments should start strict enforcement in this regard because it is already very late and our cities, villages and rivers are all already choked with plastic garbage causing highly unhygienic environment and pollution. Also all the religious rites along the river banks should be stopped immediately and our people should be educated in this aspects. more
Most of the issues with local shop keepers like Tea wala , Barger wala , Tikki wala and many more small shop keepers so we should have some rules to have some fine if there is some garbage near them related to their business. As of now they don't have any fear and no contribution towards clean India . Even I am sure that they are not paying TAX to India Govt. In India we should take some hard decision against them . more
