Legal Metrology officials still not active on gst mrp issue
Myntra, Jabong, Firstcry and brand factory continue to loot customers by charging gst on top of price/mrp.
If consumer affair department wont act, can we ask localcircles you to take this issue to cbic which even issued a clarification by email to send tax surveyors to these cheater companies and set their workings straight. more

Why not the government making clarification as to whether or not GST is applicable on so called discounted prices? Government's silence over the issue for last 18 months despite huge consumer complaints coming in everyday is encouraging the traders to continue their practice of profiteering in illegal way. more

It may be good to enforce these companies to put the applicable GSTs for the goods they sell in the front page/default page of their website/app. so that people can see before buying. more
